English League Football [30th Jan - 3rd Feb 2010] **spoilers**

:/ He would have obviously been much more of a threat and made more out of all the chances. It's like taking Rooney out of Man Utd and putting Park/Nani up front alone, much less threatening.

The bizarre thing is we've known for a long time that both our strikers have been injured yet seemingly Wenger has done nothing about it. Ok, we know he does things on the sly, but at least the newspapers sometimes rumour us to somebody and this time they didn't even bother. Meanwhile at Spurs Keane leaves for Celtic, and Pav wants out. Heck at this time I'd take Pav!

Trying to compete for trophies by using a squad made of glass isn't going to work. Noting then that the two strikers are injured for so many games and doing nothing is irritating. Noting those two players' injuries' record and add the fact that one isn't really an established senior means that part of the squad (among others) is badly wanting.

Get them into the gym or sell them. Few players fufil their promise from a young age; this is virtually impossible when they can't get a decent run. In general terms their confidance is going to be shot and this will spread to the entire squad; (I said after it happened UTD's third goal showed more about us than the comeback against Bolton).

I wouldn't mind seeing the back of RvP tbh this summer as well (no idea who to replace him though). He'll be verging around 27 when he returns and he's consistantly injured. It's a waste of money and I'm sorry I have to say that. :(

Well it appears our season is over now which is very disappointing, though it should be noted the gap isn't that big should we win this Sunday. The gap was huge last time after we played Chelsea and Wenger rightly predicted that UTD and Chelsea would drop points. Those sides will only have one bad patch per season and they've had it. More than likely they'll have a typically strong run in. Usual story with Arsenal really, at the beginning of the season I'd have taken 3rd or 4th, it seems we're going to get it. I'm not sure what's worse scraping upto those positions or falling into them.

Can only hope we either beat Chelski or Liverspuds...win one and get a draw out of the other or perfect result would be 2 wins from both games but i cant see it happening:(...we will get ripped a new one by Chelski like they did to us back in Nov at Emirates a 3 goal spanking. Liverspuds might get a result from us as well as much as i hate to say it.

Fact is that until we find our killer instinct in front of the goal we wont win many games..we should have bagged 3 pts against Villa last week but we didnt...beat them pretty comprehensively when they came to the Emirates a few mths ago. And Wenger needs to dump that utter muppet Denilson...hes had his chances and doesnt make the best of them...sure he has one or 2 good games but thats against weaker opposition...its time Wenger gave Ramsey more games as hes pretty much the future i feel...but we all know he will stick with Denilson...its time that Wenger got rid of these deadwood players ie Denilson, Walcott, Bender boy and a few others and get players who have the grit and determination to win games and not give up.

You could only really criticise the lack of a killer instinct in the odd game so far this season. We are the PL top scorers with goals coming from all different positions.

I think too much has been made of the ManU game. Along with Chelsea they are the best team in the league.

We have taken 4 points from Villa and 3 from Liverpool so far and the Villa game away would have been seen as a good result had it not come when it did.

Gera and Davies both not available for tomorrow :( that's 7 from our starting 11 last season that are injured/available, lol. Hodgson said Shorey/Okaka should play though, which is good!
