He never said that did he? He said he is a complete player, meaning he doesn't really have any weaknesses, though he doesn't really excel at anything.
He's very similar to Rooney in some ways, just doesn't quite have the same ability, especially from distance.

Yeap, think we've seen the best of him. Likeable player, but not worldclass. Spurs was always as far as he could really go.
Will have my phone refreshing non stop though. Hoping for a result to completely put the Newcastle rubbish behind us.

So ive been waiting patiently for the opportunity to reinforce my viewpoint that... Johnny Evans is NOT good enough for Man Utd. Are people ready to accept this 'bombshell' just yet? or do you want us to continue to flounder unecessarily with him in the team? obviously smalling is pretty terrible too so we'd have to buy a decent centre back and soon.

I don't really mind it personally, more nights with football is never a bad thing. Though I thought Monday nights were stopped as it was a pita for the fans getting there. Wouldn't be surprised to see lower than average attendances.

my friend tells me it happened from the first minute and they made a point of showing this on MOTD and then he did it twice at the end to win everton the points.
but what team who has just conceded to go to 3-2 up, in extra time gives the ball away so cheaply to even chance losing another goal.
the lack of quality in key positions (which it must be stated is no ones fault other than fergies) has cost us again.
Can we give chelsea the trophy now, reboot and start again next week? given the form that chelsea have shown already and their ability to just keep winning as per prvious seasons, we have literally gifted chelsea the title already. No offence to arsenal fans or whoever but yes you will get beaten by the big teams again and be a lowly 2nd or 3rd runner to a dominant chelsea again.
Did you ever consider that we still did better than last season at GP?
Also at this point in the game we had a right back / right midfield squad player playing at left back, (and as of the last few years) a pretty useless right back - even though he would undoubtedly die for Utd.
Cahill is decent in the air and GP has been a bogey ground for last few seasons (a loss last year, and a draw that felt like a loss the year before), so I think its wrong to just blame one of the youngsters in the team (are you going to blame Scholes for the own goal too?)

lets cut this off right now. last seasons start was a disaster.
this seasons start, whilst marginally better, is also a disaster.
given those fixtures to have played 4 games and be 4 points away from chelsea that quickly is simply a blow that we will never recover from.
right, fergie has been the manager now for umpteen years. it is HIS squad 100% so how come we dont have a right or left back? it comes down to ultimately who buys the player and who picks the team. sure injuries etc happen. thats why you build a squad. its not as though half of the first team have come down with an unexpected glandular fever is it?
