Yes there is - it stops Torres getting away from him.

N'gog did something similar but it was clearly deliberate and wasn't booked.

As a pool fan im happy with the result, pity we didn't win. Renia made a howler thats his 1 for the season. Thought Jovanovic had nice control and we seem to have got that never say die defence. Great to see steve g in cm as thats were he's great. AS for joe cole it was a red. Arsenal look like the same old arsenal pass,pass pass no end product.

I think Arsenal are probably most happy tonight - some reports are saying they bossed the match (and Cole was pretty invisible even before the red), but even a point at Anfield is pretty good esp getting it out the way early
(even if the equalizer was a bit flukey from Arsenal's point of view)

I still can't see this so called beautiful football that we play, it was pathetic and I don't think we deserved a point.

Glad it was a draw in the end. Reina is still the best keeper in the league despite todays mistake. And his kicking and distribution is easily the best in the league too.

Wasn't disagreeing that he's done it before. I was disagreeing that he always does it against the big teams which he doesn't.
While you can't really argue that Cole's tackle was reckless and therefore a red card, no doubt we'll see that sort of tackle end up with nothing more than a yellow more often than not.
As for the game as a whole, we actually looked the better side while we were down to 10 men and really should have got the 2nd goal in the first 20mins of the 2nd half. While I never expected to come about as it did (I actually done a Pigeon after the Rosicky save too), you always expected Arsenal would score the longer the game went on.
Taking the positives from the game; N'gog looks better and held his own (especially after the red card) and good to see how the team played even when we went down to 10 men.
