English League Football ** spoilers ** [16th - 19th October 2010]

LOL oh dear 4th defeat for Liverpool and why is Roy smiling as he went down the tunnel??....surely he must know his job is on the line.

Feel sorry for the new owners...they have an almighty mess to sort out.

Lolerpool, I'm sticking around on sky sports news, I think Roy might just walk looking at his face at the end of the match.

've just been checking on the scores and it seems that Liverpool are struggling (2-0 down).

I'm also looking at the table and it would seem that Liverpool are now in a relegation battle (2nd from bottom).

My question to Liverpool fans is that, "why are you guys all so easy about the situation? You all seem mightly relaxed about the relegation situation. Have you guys all accepted that being 2nd from bottom is actually where you belong? What is going on?"

I'm a big fan of Man Utd and if, after 8 games we were near the bottom (let alone 2nd from bottom), I would be fuming and demanding that some changes occur.

What's going on here?

No liverpool supporter including myself is taking it easy but what can we do ? Most realistic supports know we wont get the league or champs league and at this rate even get europa. Do i think we will be relegated? If we keeping performing way we are yes if we improve and spend in jan hopefully not.

Regarding that game utter tosh nothing went right, players all apart from gerrard showed nothing. Weve moaned about poulsen but hell all of them are as bad atm

Apparently there's a clause in Hodgson's contract saying that if he leaves within 3 months of new owners coming in, he gets a £3mil payoff.

Only turned up once we went 2-0 down.

Won't make excuses for our performance or say it effected the outcome of the game but the officials were a joke today; Arteta could and probably should have been sent off in the first half, their 2nd goal was clearly offside (and the rules don't say Yakuba had to touch it) and then Beckford should have been sent off twice in a matter of minutes but both times Webb bottled it.

New owners and it might be best for a new manager too. A fresh start is needed.

hodgson should walk tbh, poor git doesn't deserve this

i bet joe cole is thinking this is a bad dream

He should have come to Arsenal then...better chance of him winning something but he was too greedy...let him rot in Liverpool:p

Its all Rafa's fault, clearly
Last season, with the same team pretty much (+Kuyt, + Insua, - Torres, - Konchesky) and we put in a fight, we never got battered in the middle of the park.

Roy comes along, and suddenly as we do all season look completely out of our depth. But no, its all Rafa's fault! Nice on Mr Jamie Redknapp.

He has to go, today.. not in a month, there has been no signs of improvement, at all. Infact since arsenal, where we played the same system as Rafa did because Roy hadn't had 'time' to impliment his, when we looked like a decent side still, its all been down hill.

Roy has as many precedents for failing miserably, as those where he's been successful (And that was relative, 4th with Inter Milan in a league of only 4 ream teams is no massive achievement).
