English League Football ** spoilers ** [16th - 19th October 2010]

Unlucky Blackpool. Manchester City were rubbish for the most part and deserved nothing, and won purely because of more AWFUL refereeing.

Ridiculous.

I did.

So two weeks in a row Man City luck their way to victory.

They were awarded a penalty which wasn't, and got away with a penalty which was whilst breaking a guys leg without even a yellow card against Newcastle.

Then today they score two very dubious goals.

They are damn lucky to have 6 points from their last two games. I guess when you're up you're up but it doesn't make it any easier to take for the teams on the receiving end.

:D :D :D

Big Yak the tank!

Nothing wrong with a good old fashion shoulder barge :D, it's just a shame players can't do them anymore without the opposition going down like a girl.

Dohh.

Fell asleep near the end of the first half, sounds like i missed a stormer.

Considering how the first half was going, city did well to pull the 3 points. Guess you could look at it two ways, either you spend 25 or whatever million on that individual to make that kind of difference in game.

Or follow the old football cliche, they didn't play well but still got the 3 points, thats the stuff champions are made of.

That ones been rolled out down the years for united and liverpool a'plenty... not to mention being how half of the games go every week for anybody else.:)

Oh give over. You don't score 3 goals and deserve absolutely nothing. Both teams deserved a point. Blackpool didn't get a single shot on target until the 70th minute or something daft. Not to mention very close efforts from Milner hitting the bar and I believe Adam Johnson had a good crack too.

Was a great match. De Jong was nowhere to be seen all match and I'd be willing to bet everything it was purely because all eyes were on him after the Ben Arfa incident. Such a shame as he's usually such a vital presence in midfield. Without that we weren't building up play.

Adebayor was truely diabolical, Bridge was ****, and Barry/DeJong seemed happy to let Blackpool run the midfield. Silva coming on was such a breath of fresh air, and his goal is going to be good candidate for goal of the month if not the season. Just wish we hadn't conceded that last to keep our goal difference strong.

Going to be some good upsets at Blackpool this season for sure.

Agree fully mate...de jong pulled out of nearly all tackles as a slight touch and he would probs have been sent off...Johnson didn't get in the game at all and Adebador was a disgrace and yeh Robbo utd haven't had referees making decisions going your way all the time.

Not recently?

Given your 'amazing team' you should have battered Blackpool and plenty of your players bar Tevez went missing today, they outplayed you and I think they deserved to win and were unlucky that they didn't. :)

If it was Manchester United playing against Blackpool today I would have said the exact same thing.

Stop crying about everything.
