English League Football ** spoilers ** [16th - 19th October 2010]

I wouldn't know, ever since Roy put distance between the youth/reserve and first team players (they dont even train in the same complex any more) the info has dried up.

-edit-
Unless u mean Jonjo? Yeah, we did. He looked a class above at youth/reserve level. and .. thats about the end of his chances

With Poulsen I just think it was a very underwhelming buy. I think he was bought just to help pad out the midfield (I'm not an expert on this though :p) just my two cents.

I think a really big sale would help Liverpool, removing all the dead wood and bringing in and bringing through players.

Honda might be a good buy tbh, Defour could be. Wingers though :p Wingers :p

Yeah Honda will be tough as he only recently signed a 5 year contract, defour though is very possible imo , I've seen him play quite a bit and he has really impressed me, seems to be very much in the alonso mode, pinging great passes around from the middle of the pitch and is a very strong age too.

Not getting a pop as a sub any time soon then? :(

Shame. Saw him at Charlton and he looked quite good.

I've cried time and time again for us to give Shelvey a run, can't be any worse than who is already on the pitch and might just prove to be a little gem. Doubt he will play though, will probably knock about in the reserves for a year, then go on loan for a season to someone like sunderland and then get sold to someone like birmingham

Yeah, first step Roy made (and i mean, within hours) was to move the youth players back to the academy for 'group' training.
Additionally, the 'reserves' (Which now also include out of favour 1st teamers, like Babel) are forced to train away from the 'first team'.
Its like a concentration camp.

Cant see Fergie letting him go, even if they have 'fallen out'

Previously, he would just click his fingers and get cash for a replacement. Now? i dont think United even got to reinvest all of the Ronaldo money, so the same would probably be true of Rooney.
And as Liverpool found out, its a one way spiral from there.

If these reports are true then Fergie may not have much of a say. In the summer he'll only have 1 year left on his deal and if he's refusing to sign what other option do Utd have.

And if a big enough offer comes in, the decision might be taken out of Fergie's hands. Could you imagine the Glazers turning down a big offer if Rooney had made it clear he's not extending his deal.

Rooney wont leave in january...it will be more like a Ronaldo summer move where the deal takes ages to conclude.
Wouldnt mind him at City as he would be a great super sub.

well, united fans. if city offered you £10m + tevez for rooney, would you want it to happen?

What Tevez boo hoo I'm gonna quit football, there's too much pressure on me, the team rely on me too much.

Yes you thick **** that's why they pay you over a 100 grand per week.
