English League Football ** spoilers ** [17th - 21st September 2010]

aww, he is quite amazingly humble for a footballer. I think the biggest difference is how much happier he looks, he actually celebrates goals now.

I wonder if he'll ever feel the urge to play for Newcastle in his later years, seeing as how he idolised Alan Shearer.

IIRC, he had a Newcastle shirt with Shearer's name on it.

Right so if the attacker doesn't have the ball and the ball is never going to reach him because VdS was getting there way before him anyway, it's still a red card?

There will be an awful lot of sending offs if that's the case :/

That's not quite what he was saying.

Doubt it. Arsenal will play a poor side who have had no experience together. Can't see Arsenal winning to be honest, unless Spurs play an even worse side

So tonight;

Tottenham 1 - 4 Arsenal

We will destroy them useless ****.

Highly unlikely...i would say its the other way round...we all know Wenger doesnt give a toss about the worthless cup so plays his kids instead. Plus Flappy hands is in goal tonight :/

Another trophy we can kiss goodbye too...perhaps Wenger needs to take the comp a bit more seriously.

Fabregas being reported as injured for 3 weeks...so might not make the Chelski game:(.

Arry's playing the kids isn't he?

According to SSN, it looks like maybe a couple of youngsters will be in the squad but Bentley, Krancjar and Palacios look to be starting...they have some unknown GK in the squad though.

Well it's not going to be all the kids.

Fabianski, Eboue, Gibbs, Djourou, Squillaci, JET, Vela, Wilshere, Denilson, Eastmond, Lansbury

That's a pretty good team to be starting with. Then he will probably have some youngsters.

As long as twitch doesn't play Bale we will win.

Because of Wenger's utter lack of effort in this trophy I'm actually starting to not care about it too, which is bad, as it's a trophy that's there to be won.

Fabregas will be fit for Chelsea!

I'm thinking it will be a narrow Spurs win tonight, though I'm all for being proven wrong. Wenger, as we know, will field a team of young players who don't even make our bench, Spurs will probably have half of their first choice players and the other half comprised of back ups. I don't see Arsenal winning. I'd have liked to have seen Wojczech in goal as well, and Vela up front.

SSN are saying that Pletikosa is going to be in nets for Spurs, I hope that isn't the third choice GK that someone was on about further up in the thread, he has 80 caps for Croatia... Much more experienced and capable than Flappyhandski. That said, the rest of their team didn't look too frightening so maybe this will be a close match than I initially thought. I'm looking forward to seeing Vela, JET and Randall up front.

Yep, it is our 3rd choice.
