He shouldn't be a defender because his primary job is something he's shown that time and time again he is incapable of doing when it matters. I hope that when Gibbs returns he's given the starting spot, it should be Clichy who has to prove himself.
 
His defensive work has been poor for well over a season now. Going forward he isn't that bad that's purely pace. Pity that Gibbs is injured so often.

Wouldn't mind seeing if either of our two new signings could slot in a LB, that might encourage Clichy to raise his game as the old saying goes.

edit - Nasri starting, surprised at that because as said he tires easily. Would have preferred Rosicky there instead, but tbh both need a run in the side. Don't mind which one starts, be good if the Czech is subbed on at some point.
 
Yep, he's not a bad offensive player, but his defending really lets him down. By the way, is anyone able to provide me with a link via trust mail? If so I'd be very much appreciative. :)

Poor showing from Chelsea and a very nice defensive game from city they did look very strong and as pointed out De Jong/Kompany looked good today.

Not very impressed with Ramires so far with what I have seen, seems a little slow (well not quite up to pace).
Way to often gets caught with the ball or plays a poor pass, the goal today was from him being caught again.
 
Bruce is not happy :o

Free kick for Sunderland, the Sunderland defender kicks it back to the keeper so he can take it but the ref deems the defenders kick as the start of play and we pick it up and score.
 
Well sunderland only have taylor to blame really, Luck our way for a change am sure bruce will moan but tuff **** he had his beach ball luck last year payback is a git xD Allthough letter of the law it was correct decsion
