English League Weekend Football 16-18th January *spoilers*

Referee has been rubbish so far. He's missed two good penalty calls. Zat Knight definitely made contact to bring Fabregas down, before that, Jaaskelainen made contact and brought him down earlier on. Boot in the face and hair pulling of Fabregas was also missed, not to mention the foulings on Diaby but then as soon as Rosicky lashes out it's an immediate yellow card?

Traore has been dire as he was in his last game. We've got Silvestre a hugely experienced defender on the bench yet Traore is still in the picture.

Seeing as Bolton have 12 men it seems that we are lucky to be leading at this point.

Traore is constantly getting sucked into the middle and leaving acres of space on Bolton's right side, his positional sense is shocking at times.

Amazed there's only been 1 goal in this game. Arsenal have picked Bolton off at will but equally have looked shocking at the back too.

Hate the way Bolton are just trying to kick us about all the time, its pathetic. They can and are playing good football at times so theres no need for their moronic behaviour

Klasnic should have scored that. He's a good player and he doesn't look too bad at the moment either. He scored 49 goals in 150 appearances for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, 10 in 33 for Nantes in the French league as well. He's looked quite sharp in this game and I think it's either him or Lee that are going to score if Bolton grab a goal.

Hopefull the referee puts his ****ing glasses on for the second half. Maybe if he stopped eating so many bacon rolls he'd be able to keep up with the play and see what the hell is going on. What are the linesmen doing?

Some poor decisions, technically there were two penalties but I would have been happy if one was given, seeing as it's away, yet none get given and Fabregas gets called a cheat? Odd.

Not been a great performance though overall, Eastmond isn't really filling in for Song very well and therefore the back 4 are looking more exposed, thankfully it's only temporary this season :D

Dempsey, Zamora, Kamara, Pantsil, Konchesky and Davies all injured, all starters when fit too :(, then Etuhu away at ACON. Ah well.

I dont agree with that if I'm honest, he's had a pretty solid game, especially given its his first start :)

He's been okay, but Song is pretty much a brick wall. He has been caught in possession 2 or 3 times which you expect and had a rash challenge which he was lucky to get away with. I wasn't saying he has had a bad game, just that Song is much better, which is to be expected, it's his first ever game!

Blackburn 2-0, game over. Looked a mile offside, or just crap defending. Why oh why can't we defend set pieces.

Edit: just seen a replay, both offside :(

Dempsey injured, Nevland on...bah

I'll be interested to see the goals tonight assuming that the offside relates to them. No broadcasters seem to be mentioning it at all .

From what I've read it was a case of Fulham having all the play and us taking advantage of our set pieces. I just hope we can get a result against Villa on Wednesday now. Sam needs to stick with 4-4-2.

Yeah, both standing off, moreso Nelsen. Terrible defending either way, but more bad luck against us.

We were unlucky infront of goal, and even moreso overall with injuries/conceding. Not a good start to 2010.
