English League Weekend Football 16-18th January *spoilers*

Laughable.

Sure to a Bolton fan it may be;)...but from where i was sitting with my friends watching it on Sky...and most of mates being Man Utd or liverspuds fans...they even commented on how dirty the Bolton players were.

But hey dont let your rose tinted glasses could you judgement if your a Bolton fan...Coyle isnt going to make you a better team that soon...long gone are your Allardyce heydays;)

So he's scored 6 goals in 14 starts.

Then he's had 8 sub appearances on top of those 14. Which brings it up to 22 total appearances and 6 goals this season?

Edit, didn't know he was 26 thought he was a lot younger then that, well thought he was early 20's.

In the league this year, starts and subs aside, he's played 830 minutes of premier league football with 4 goals and 5 assists. Which is a goal or an assist for every games worth of time on the pitch, hardly terrible in the slightest. Considering the make up of those appearances. In his previous run as a lone striker which is certainly not his position he's started 5 games and has 2 goals and 3 assists.

I fail to see how thats a bad record, a player whose normally started 14 games would have also played an extra 400 minutes on the pitch aswell.

For comparison in Rooney's last 5 games he's scored 3 and got 4 assists, so one more of each, he also played the full 90 minutes in 4 of those 5 games and played as a result and has played a full game more than Eduardo. Add in the fact that Rooney's completely match fit, hasn't spent the best part of 2 years out of football and has been played consistantly all year so is "in form" I wouldn't say Eduardo is doing badly in the slightest.

I would say that Arsenal are carrying him.

830 minutes of football - 4 goals = 1 goal ever 207 minutes. No I don't think that's good enough for Eduardo who Arsenal fans make out to be a great goal machine.

I can't believe Eduardo is playing at all after that injury, surely he needs to be cut a little bit of slack.

I doubt he'd even be playing if Bender was fit.

I didn't think Eduardo would play again after that tackle tbh.

Isn't that what I've said? + his 2 goals, that have since become o.g. harshly imo. A goal every 3-4 games isn't bad considering his poor fitness. He had an operation in the summer aswell.

But they're not his goals.

I never though he'd play again tbh, I'm quite happy to see him back playing.

I wouldnt say he was a goal machine but he had one of the best finishes prior to his injury. I am sure that injury has effected his confidence a little seeing your foot hanging on by your sock.

I dont think he is a player suited to being the only forward we have though.

Not only the injury will have affected his confidence but don't forget the already mentioned crap that happened earlier on this season. Self righteous bunch of ****s. I think it's also meant that we've not had a penalty since. Ok we won yesterday but that still doesn't make it right.

came in to post a link, shame theres no footage as of yet, guess Soccer AM might be worth a watch when the 3rd eyes are on and hope someone caught it on camera.

Didn't someone laugh at Spurs chance of getting 4th as they are great one game and crap the next, then stated City and Villa were the ones to watch for 4th?

Hopefully!

And yes, they probably did. I spent all last year talking down our chances and was proven right, but I'm really not sure about any of the 3 getting 4th place. You just know Liverpool will creep back into it just like Arsenal did last year and it'll be business as usual with the top 4.

Well that was ****.

We were luck to get a draw and if I was an Albion fan, I'd feel hard-done by.

Also, WTF was Jonas thinking in that final move?!?
