English League Weekend Football 8-12th January *spoilers*

Two of his goals were great, which makes a change as he's really deflected and miskicked a lot of his goals in. Looks FAR more potent than at any stage against Man U(not tonight, anyone can get a hattrick against Blackburn these days ) over the last few months. While he runs around a lot he's overall higher up the pitch and gets into the box a lot more than he used to.

City are starting to click but it has smeg all to do with Mancini, obviously Tevez took a while to click with the team but his goal scoring run started long before Mancini was there. Defensively as I've always said Richards is a rock when he doesn't have Hamann in front of him, Zabaleta isn't great but he's improved a lot on his first season when he was terrible.

When Richards wants to be he's a damn dangerous runner, when at right back he runs into the box like that pretty damn often. City without SWP look like a real threat, though his absense is more injury than tactical choice. Still think Petrov looks weak, every single time stops and turns inside, predictable as hell, some poor shooting and rarely that effective. Bellamy was more effective going forward and defensively, whenver Garrido was dragged out wide every single time you saw Bellamy fill in the gap and cover the space incase Garrido was beaten.

Still can't believe people expected City to not take a while to gel with a huge number of new players, Hughes was very hard done by considering their target was 70 points, and when he was fired he was on 32 with 18 games gone, they had 35 points when Macini won that game that took them halfway. Considering most would expect some teething issues thats a very impressive showing.
