Entanet possible peak time change

Would'nt a huge change like this make all current customers have a material disadvantage?
Surely thats a getout of contract free card?

The contract is 30 days. You don't need a change of contract to get out. The resellers are confident that Enta are still the best wholesale provider out there even with their future (necessary) changes and the resellers want to keep their customers happy.

An average person running a pc 24/7 in an average household who are using it LEGALLY will never use 30 gig monthly allowance. Add more users then things might be different.

The biggest issue for most ISP's is there are so many people using the majority of their bandwidth for illegal torrents/downloads.

This is where you all tell me you use BBC iplayer or other channels similar software and I know your lying ;-P

3.1 In normal use the Broadband Service allows unlimited data transfer over our network. If, however, we reasonably believe that your use of the Broadband Services, including (but not limited to) the total amount of data which you download or upload, is not consistent with normal, fair and reasonable use of the internet then we will be entitled, at our option, to: impose limits on the amount of data which you may transmit; charge you reasonable additional data transfer charges; or suspend or terminate the Services.
3.2 Wherever reasonably possible we will give you written notice before taking any such action, and allow a reasonable period to allow you to modify your use.

in their T&C under "Fair Use"

Huh, is that so? Then they must have forgotten to warn us before dropping our 8meg line to 2meg or even half a meg pretty much all the goddamn time, and must be disconnecting it randomly for kicks.

I've downloaded 30+gb since the start of this month just downloading all my steam games and driver updates.

Even with the original proposed changes, no one else comes close to offering as much as enta do for the same price.

o2 come close, but not static IP, and no office product.
