Entanet possible peak time change

I would imagine they are doing it because the business model is now unsustainable with ever increasing central pipe costs.

Wont be long before the internet is "pay as you go" again like it used to be with dial up, only now its GB instead of hours.

I think i'll now be looking for another provider :(

Most of the heavy usage in the house house (XBL Downloads and general downloads) is done in the weekend but they are changing offpeak to those hours then it isn't worth me staying with them :(

I'm on a 30/300 package btw

theres no where to go to for me - im with ukfsn on the 30/300 package.

its like the dark days of pay as you go dial up all over again.

quoted for truth
The end is near :(
i am on their 90/330 office package ,if this does end up being true i will down grade to the cheapest package while i look for a different isp in a heartbeat :(
No way in hell am i paying £40 pm with those restrictions.its not like i am getting high speeds, only scrape max 2500 on a good day

yeah, if theyd just keep the weekend as off peak, and reduce the total off peak allowance from 300 gb to 100 or even 50 -- id be happy.

but as it is im almost guaranteed to go over my 30 gb per month, and im not leaving my pc on over night, god knows how many nights per month just to stay under the peak-cap with electricity being what it is these days so ... time to look around

no no no Don`t give them ideas like that!
If i am paying for `upto 330GB/90GB pm i EXPECT to be ABLE to use that much
If they cut the cost pm to reflect the reduction in hours fair enough but i need ALL my allowance (this is why i chose UKFSN/ENTA) after being with eclipse for years, they altered the agreement i signed up for,(F.U.P./shaping)
andi was gone like a rat up a drainpipe. Will do the same to Enta unless i feel they are being fair about any changes they make

They should scrap including upload as well, as theres quite a lot out there who don't count the upload as part of it as well.

Supposed to be getting the e-mail today, but ive had bugger all yet.

well i dont see hows its even possible to download 330 gb per month anyway, even 24/7 downloading.

mind you its getting mad - as someone at thinkbroadband pointed out, these days we have direct to drive games, movie downloads (some in HD)rentals as well as bbc iplayer and 4od, all legit uses, all munching the megs like an elephant with buns.

I feel your pain but the alternative is surely a price increase which is even worse in my book.

I dont know ! /o\

But where you gunna go? Who's offering the same kind of allowance, is O2 still an option or maybe Sky?

I think I might migrate to 02. They seem to be pretty good and I can get it cheaper as I have an 02 mobile. :)

I'm still going to go through with my migration, Enta have no credibility now as far as I'm concerned. They pulled the rug from under their resellers and I presume it was only the fuss kicked up by customers that made them change their minds. O2 Home Access for me I think.

At the end of the day, I bet they'd prefer you to leave. Users who use 'their' whole allowance are costing them more than you pay.
