Van Persie for me. The rest are great goals but I think anyone could have scored them with a lucky shot. Van Persie's was pure technique.

Cisse's was a complete fluke. Hit and hope. It was just luck that Cech was a yard out of position.
Disagree completely, you don't strike a ball like that when it's hit and hope. Cech has been done by the flight of the ball, to say he was out of position is just crazy. Look where he is when the ball is struck, to be in position in terms of saving that shot he'd have to be on his line and much closer to the far post, which is about as out of position as he could possibly get.

You can't legislate for goals like that, no matter how good a keeper you are, for me it beats Crouch for goal of the season, don't recall ever seeing a goal quite like it.

I find it strange that goals are being knocked because they may not be easily repeated, surely the better a goal is the less likely they are to be replicated? What matters is that on this given instance it did come off.

As I said, it was a well taken goal, however it's not in the same league as the others listed here.

That's a very good goal, but not uncommon week in, week out. The other 3 are worldys (especially the Crouch and Cisse strikes anyway)

Why not, the guy has only scored 8 goals in 100 games at Chelsea/Blackburn/Wigan and you know what he is going to do, no back lift, just a cheeky punt.

The Di Santos one is ridiculous .

The Crouch one just seems more hit and hope. Obviously he did really well to score, etc, and he was shooting, but he was just shooting at the goal (lol, I know that sounds retarded). But shooting in the general direction of the goal, whilst the others were meaning to hit a specific bit, if that makes sense?

Crouch scored a few like that, he has a great volley finish for a lanky guy which is impressive, shame he cant head the ball for peanuts.

What about Van Persies against Everton? Great pass, over the shoulder on the volley.

Unbelievable technique.

It is not final, calm down, I am sure Rotty or Andybtsn will make a shortlist of 5/10 goals and poll after 38 games. ;)

Cisse, no contest, doubt you'll see another goal like it for a long time. You almost had me believing you for a second too Tom

Not really, any player can get the bend and whip on the ball with the boots/football also it was **** weather so wind could have helped.

Has to be Cisse's. RVP's has to be up there aswell. Crouch's was a hit a hoper. Look at ALL the goals Cisse has scored for Newcastle they're so technically brilliant some of his other goals where he's falling over and managed to pass it into the top right corner is amazing enough. Seeing his other goals the way he hit the one tonight when it was coming up with big power making sure he get's the swerve and curve on it to get it down he 110% meant it. The ball fell kindly for him and he went with instinct and scored a wonder strike.

Moot point, him on fire doesnt mean he should win the goal of the season, RVP skill to hit a ball on the volley at that angle was sublime, you could say Cisse was just dicking about 1-0 up with not long left, have a go shaggy! BOOM

He is not that good, he will get found out, just having an amazing spell.

He is not that good? Are you just trolling?

:P

Haters going to hate

Average a goal every other game for the past 2-3 season in very poor teams before coming to england now in a harder league he's getting a goal every 60 or so mins?

Not some flash in a pan he had to prove himself time and time again after starting his little goal tally in the French second division.

He also won awards for being the most efficient striker in the league in Germany

Last few weeks cheets seems to have developed a hatred for Newcastle :p he is class, Cheets knows this but it's probably just his time of the month :p

Cisse goal gets better every time you see it.

Even if I wasn't a Newcastle fan that would be hands down the best. One of the funniest things is when the camera goes to Pardew, Drogba is In shot shaking his head in disbelief then he just smiles and starts clapping :D

I'm surprised the Ban Arfa goal hasn't been suggested considering how much the Newcastle fans were going on about it, or have they finally realised it was mainly down to poor defending?

The ball sat up quite nicely for Cisse to hit it whereas Crouch had to control it and then take the shot. There was a chance Cech could have saved the Cisse goal, Hart on the other hand was left to watch in amazement as the Crouch goal went in, so for those two reasons, I think Crouch's was the best.
