How does the monitor not topple over forwards? Are they fastened to the desk somehow?

I would imagine it screws to the desk much like any other arm, you can see the bottom of the arm if the second picture Baddass posted (next to the Logitech mouse recharger/receiver)

Should save a lot of space and clutter on the desktop, the dell looks terrible mainly due to the stand so this should make it look a lot better.

As I've said my only gripe with my eizo is the height :/ - that stand would add a lot of versatility.

Headrat you've made a good purchase...I've got two of those monitor arms as well (well, the type shown in the pic badass put up) for my two WS TFT's and the available deskspace, height options and viewing angles all improved incredibly.

I personally think deskmount arms are better and more versatile than wall mounted options, especially for PC/desk environments...wall mounted options seem all too permanent for me..!

They are apparently the same arm, the articulated extension arm can be taken out (well according to Mr BADASS)
