That doesn’t mean he’s not any good. It could well be the manager doesn’t like him, or doesn’t fit the profile for what he wants in the team. ETH hardly gives Amad a game, doesn’t mean he’s crap, just that ETH has his favourites.

Speaking for yourself? Didn't cover yourself in glory with England so think you'd not be on the Ineos shortlist for the job.

Seriously though, I'm sure someone will want to prove themselves at Utd. Imagine being the first manager since Fergie to win the Premier League. Sooner or later the club will have to find someone to back for a long-term rebuild project.

I imagine the job spec is pretty simple - Score more goals. Concede less goals. Play or at least show signs of progression toward playing cohesive football like an actual team.
