how much do you all spend on apps, and specifically games? is it worth it?

I havn't paid for one yet just wondering if people find the fees worth it, and if so, why?

Sim City mentioned last page made me sit up and think how can they be making that much from it?! I wouldn't have thought of googling sim city android, so how do people know it's there?

Found it mentioned on an app review site.

Okay, you remember when Google gave app developers that have over 5000 downloads and a 3.5 star or above rating? Well was that a one off thing or is it continuous... i may have heard something about it happening once a year.

+1 for Tasker.

If I lose my phone, I can make my Phone vibrate and ring by sending a message to it with the subject RING.

Auto start applications when starting the phone etc. Endless possibilites.

Tasker is amazing.

Some problems with recognising application exits though - for when you're doing a task 'on exit'.

And he means that even when the phone is on silent you can set it to vibrate and max volume if you text it with a certain phrase.
