I was also recently pleased at that after upgrading to 2.2, you're not alone! :p

Looks fab on the SGS screen too, for iplayer that is. I read that BBC are working on a 'proper' iplayer app.

Forget the mobile iplayer site. The desktop version gives you the ability to watch over 3g and view the higher 1500kbps stream, much better than the standard 800kbps, sharper and better colours. My desire just about handles it too :)

Finally downloaded Angry Birds last night and was bloody gutted that I can't see what all the fuss is about - Anyone else on here running a phone with similar spec to the Galaxy Portal managing to run it smoothly? I think I was getting 1fps :-/ was terrible :(

Anyone else with a Galaxy Portal (or other lame phone lol) wanting Angry Birds at a playable frame rate, download Angry Birds v1.3.5 - plays fine :)
 
Anyone know when on earth we'll be getting Paypal for the Market??

Sick of holding off on cheap apps because my debit card charges me for currency conversion.

Paypal was coming to the market not part of it as far as i'm aware. It's in the market as an app.
Get a different bank account. Does Google checkout not convert it? An app i just tried was $0.99 but i got refunded £0.50

That is only for mobiles on 2.2 I think, however you can install the 2.2 market on 2.1 now as well, but it isn't the latest one:

EDIT:

Also gone back to the latest xscope version and it is so much better than any of the other browsers I have tried (skyfire, opera mini and mobile, dolphin and stock android), just feels so much more snappier plus it renders everything properly :D

Google checkout does not convert :(

I need to check actually because the charge for the last app I bought didn't even make sense.
