Finally found a version of Swype that works on my SanFran, now I can see why people rate it so highly, can skim very quickly and it picks out what you wanted to say. Not sure what the status on Swype is, but are we allowed to publicly post .apk's of it?

I'm using Ultra Keyboard which has a tracing option which I like a lot, but I'm dying to see if the genuine article is better and I can't find it

where are you finding it? cant see it on the market and googleing it doesnt come up with anything aside from some cooking recipes...

It's just on the market, there should be two versions.

Solipskier has been taking up more of my time, It's good fun.

I don't think we are. I used to use Swype on my magic (single touch) but since using my DHD (where you can type in parallel with 2 thumbs in portrait) I've found the stock keyboard to be just as fast and less error prone than Swype.

You can lock out any task manager using App Protector

Just gave App Protector a try, it didn't really work.

It protected the default apps, but when I tried to add a new app, it just took me back to the main menu

Yeh rooted, I had a look at Seal but that was just a trial.

I've been using it for a few days now, seems quite accurate

If you're with Orange you can use a app called 'Your Orange' to monitor usage.

The orange app seems to be quite slow to load, and doesn't have the extra features such as daily, weekly and monthly usage and limit warnings.
