Essential Android Apps

Yup, angry birds seasons is working perfectly here on my i5700 as well :D, no need for any fixes for the textures like the full one :(

It is a problem with the game itself and not the mobiles though, I reckon, as it doesn't seem to work on quite a lot of low-mid end mobiles according to there blog, seems only the pretty high end mobiles are running them perfectly smooth. Also it isn't exactly demanding as some other games, which work and have the correct textures, even 3D games run smoother and work correctly than it on the spica.

I have tried pure agenda widget and others and IMO the launcher pro one seems to be the best for functions wise and I think it looks better as well and it will be a lot better once we can theme the widgets and more functions/customizable features are brought to the launcher pro widgets :D. Although the pure agenda widget is extremely customizable.

Also trying to decide on browsers again :o

Xscope seems to be unstable again and slows my mobile down after a while of using it and then causes other apps to force close, mainly handcent , tried clearing cache etc.

So going to try out the new version (3.0) of skyfire again and if it's not any good, then back to good old stock android browser :D :(

PS, I also love the smilies now :D

Thanks for letting us know!

I'm also after a "pretty" calendar widget. I'm using LauncherPro Plus's calendar widget, and I've tried CalWidget and Smooth Calendar but they're worse aesthetically/functionaly. I just wanted a widget that shows my month view, preferably with a clear/nice background, with the option to then switch to a day-by-day events view (a la LauncherPro Plus). Any ideas?

I use the android agenda widget combined with astrid tasks. Free and very customisable. Not yet figured out screenshots but it looks good also, with transparency settings etc.

Payment option and performance upgrades to follow
We are still working on two things for the Angry Birds games on Android:
First, we are bringing a graphically lighter option in the game, to enable better performance on older phones.

Second, we will introduce a payment system to opt-out of advertising.
Both of these upgrades will be included in later updates.

Spaghetti and marshmallows is driving me nuts. The Cliffhanger level seems bloody impossible without a degree in structural engineering!

Yeh that one was a bit of a fiddle!

Roughly what I did:

Step one, hook it over the top so you have something to work from
Step two, build down to the lower goal ring, I then built some spaggetti *legs* that touched the ground just to take a little weight off of the hooked area
Step three, carefully build accross to the top goal!
I'm currently on level 20, frog swing - looks like it is really going to take some doing! 2 Goals, both next to frogs on a balancing bar! :(

Been using Sleep Bot to track my sleep the past few days...

Ooooh not thought about the building legs down to the ground idea - always scard about going anywhere near those three frogs on the floor! Will give it a shot - thanks very much !! :D

Oh man I haven't played Little Big Adventure since I was doing my GCSEs!! Reminds me of sitting in my mate's bedroom waiting for his 486DX4100 (which I was really jealous of!) to load anything lol

My how things progress! :)
