i like it but hate the fact that the tabs and notification bar take up a third of the page in landscape mode - they should auto hide like the google

EDIT - just found the fullscreen option = WIN

EDIT2 - is it only googles own browser that supports text re-flow - sorely missed in dolphin lite

Recently got Opera Mini as a browser on my HTC Hero after trying dolphin and others and not liking any of them. Opera Mini rules!! Its by far the quickest browser, has tabbed browsing, good interface, I would highly recommend it.
 
PowerAmp:

Can someone tell me why in PowerAmp there is a 'Folders' button and 'Library' button.
I'm pretty confused by the interface and the app itself and how to use the folders/library and which is for what and how it should be used.

All my songs I put on the phone appear in the 'Folders' menu, but none of those songs appear in the 'Library' which really seems to be more of a sensible place for them to appear because the Library has all songs, artists, playlists etc and seems to be the normal area for the app to store its music.
I have no idea how to get the music in there which is where I want it.

When I am playing a song it shows the artist and title and below it a folder path location? But why? It's like a path of where it is on the phone's SD card and the path of where it was on the computer. I don't need this information in the player view.

Also, I have to have my volume on max to hear anything decently despite being told PowerAmp helps the issue of the low media volume with the default audio player. (Sennheiser CX870s). Anyone know why/how to get the volume working more 'normally'?

Any tips are appreciated.
Any other good music player app suggestions are appreciated.

I check back maybe twice a day, the idea is to keep you planet's health at full, and the sun and rain about half way on the bar.

If you press menu you can choose to rain, hide/show sun and look at other stats. Generally works out to hiding the sun for about 12 hours or more and making it rain a few times a day... You can also keep your population happy by pressing on the planet to poke it and by throwing the sun around the screen like a bouncy ball.




In other news can some of you download Wordfeud add me (Skyfall)and play a few games... I really like the idea but no one I know is into it and the random people are bit sluggish and impersonal.

It's like email scrabble, you take it in turns but you can take the turns whenever you want :)

 
Anyone else found the accuracy of snowstorm has been dreadful in the past few weeks? Its telling me its 7'c in waterloo where as three other sites say its -1. Not impressed! It may be pretty but its gash at predicting the weather!
 
Fine for me, temp is 1 degree out but wind is accurate as is precipitation. It uses yr.no for forecasts so should be accurate!

Yup, snowstorm working perfect for me as well, most accurate weather app I have tried so far out of most of them.

Although just downloaded fancy widget (as I fancy a change :p) and so far I am really liking it and the amount of customization choice as well as the features :D

Plus it looks pretty good :D

Will post some screenshots later on, when I get a certain theme on.

Will also try that word app/game out later as well.

Beautiful widgets was always a bit sketchy with weather - me and my girlfriend would update at the same time and get different weather and temps :-/ never good lol
