I dont know about you but, as I have Prey on my Apps2SD, then unless the person wipes the EXT partition, Prey is constantly installed on my phone even with a full phone wipe.
 
When I played game dev story I died from yawning so wide but came back from the dead to tell you guys!
 
Quick question that doesn't warrant it's own thread - I noted that Amazon's Kindle app takes up nearly 6mb when installed to phone, but only 2mb when moved to the SD card. Just accidentally moved it back to the phone, and it was 6mb again - back to SD card, and it went down to 2mb once more. In either case, the 'data' is only 92kb. Anyone account for the difference?

dont have an android phone rather a Nokia E63, my shifts are just synced over from outlook. Does it need to be an app? Seems over complicated?? Of course come upgrade time for me I maybe asking the same questions :p

Basically it's not accounting for the portion of the programme on the SD card, ergo when you've moved to SD, 2MB of data are left on your phone's memory 4MB is on the SD card; when the programme is fully back on the phone, it absorbs 6MB of the phones memory.

Norton mobile security seems quite good for locating your phone if you've left it somewhere and forgotten where.

Wifi on & GPS off - you get an SMS in 5 minutes with the location of your phone accurate to 75m.
Wifi off & GPS off - you get an SMS in 5 minutes with the location of your phone accurate to 504m.

You can also lock or wipe the phone via SMS.

I've not tested it with GPS outdoors yet. The app is easily uninstalled and not an alternative to the likes of Prey.
 
Is there a good App for Alarms? The alarm on my Samsung Apollo rarely goes off. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the phone or not. I just set it a moment ago for 21:50pm, when it got to 21:49pm, the phone lit up and the time jumped to 21:51pm. :/
 
I use Kaoler Clock, but i did have problems with the stock alarm app. Before this i used an app that would only turn the alarm off if you completed equations and anagrams first. Woke you up but it was damn annoying ;)

I use Gentle Alarm! Lots of options, does the job :D
