Essential Android Apps

Possibly, although it only gives access to free apps. Mods, feel free to delete if not appropriate.

It does say use a throwaway mail address, not your usual Amazon address. I'd suggest not using your main Google account either just in case.

I should point out I haven't tried this yet, will try when I have time later tonight.

Can anyone recommend a nice clock widget just to sit on my homepage? I've been using SiMi for months now which is great but I'm a little bored of it, I'd like a similar sort of style but with some funkier fonts.

Beautiful Widgets has a nice choice of clock types, styles and fonts IMO!

The Angry Birds feed on Facebook popped up today saying that ABRio will be free on the Android Market later on this week :)

And that it will include some bug fixes and tweaks - hopefully those "tweaks" won't make it slower or with any white-box textures lol

Anyone tried this out?

Yep, tested today and works fine from the phone app. Throws a wobbly if you try from your PC though.

Not sure how anyone can say this is fraud. Its probably against Amazon's t&c's, but since it only gives you the ability to download FREE apps, you're not actually doing anybody out of money/services/goods, how can it be classed as fraud?

I was under the impression that if you had more than one account set up in HTC's own mail app, that as well as seeing emails in their own inbox, you could see all the emails in one list and emails from the different accounts were marked in their own colour. At the moment, I can view them in a list but they're all in white/black. I don't seem to be able to find any settings to change this. Anyone?!!

-edit-I must be blind! I just realised that they are already colour coded with a thin vertical bar on the left!!

Where something is free is irrelevant. The end does not justify the means. In my book faking an identification and faking credit card details to obtain that item isn't exactly kosher. I wonder what Amazon and the credit card companies would make of it?

I never said it was kosher or even morally right, but there is a loophole there. Just letting people know about it and like i said, if its not appropriate, mods can remove.

I haven't been questioning the morality of it either. You and the other one just didn't understand how this was fraud so I was happy to show you.

Unless I'm wrong?
