You're welcome :)

The new ish list feature rocks I must say

Just having a quick play with it now.

I'm really impressed that it's remembered the apps I had on my phone last time I had appbrain installed.

It'll make sorting everything out when it's back from repair a hell of a lot easier.

Guys have you tried

Colorize Widget

This is by far the best widget for Twitter, Messages, Facebook, Bookmarks etc.

I've been looking for a good bookmarks widget as i'm on a senseless rom which doesn't include one.

Any other widget recommendations or is this the best one?

Eurgh, any use the messaging function on fb on their phone? It's not showing the actual messages on my phone even though I know they are there.

That Facebook app is absolute **** of the highest order.

Firstly: Received two separate notifications saying "You have recieved 1 facebook message" or whatever. Which is just silly, it should collect into one notification.

Secondly: I tap the notifications and nothing at all happens. :(

Thirdly: I manually open the app and look for the messages. Nothing in Messaging or Chat .

Fourthly: I log into fb on my PC 10 hours later only to find I'd left two different people hanging. It was in Chat as well

The creator, or team behind that app should be tortured then shot for releasing such an abomination.

Full agree on all points, the messaging functionality is terrible. I think i read somewhere a few weeks ago that the messaging API's aren't available or something like that which is why most 3rd party FB apps don't include chat functionality. No excuse for the official app though, complete shambles.

I'm after a simple FTP APP that will allow my Tablet to transfer from my NAS to the Tablet.

On any PC with any PC FTP program I enter these details and make contact every time -
Address: ftp://goflex_home/
Port: 21
Username: **********
Password: ***********

I just want a simple APP that does the same thing.
Anybody else do this?

Anyone recommend an app to be able to remotely control Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7 over wifi?

Not a generic remote as such, but one more aimed for that software. Looking for something with playlist support, track/album/artist/genre listing on the phone display itself so that I can control from another room.

I tried myRemote but then realised it's for Windows Media Center not player, so not as easy. Seen a few others, but unsure which to trust, other than trying every single one.

Does anyone know of an app that based on which Bluetooth device is connected will change the sound profile?

Reason I ask is my phone chirps when an event occurs not normally a problem, but in teh car it will cut over to the bluetooth kit then back to the radio/CD etc

So I am after a program that when my phone connects to the car kit it changes the profile to get rid of sounds etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Kimbie
