Stock camera app is brilliant in my opinion. I'd be interested to hear opinions on custom ones as I've tried a few and non have been spectacular.

That's interesting to hear, as much as the effects on Camera360, etc are tempting I'm just not sure if I would use them as a replacement for the original or if I'm better of just editing them with whatever effects after I've taken them on my laptop.

Gmail count won't update due to a change in API from Google in the latest Gmail. This affects all launchers.

I think part of the problem is the massive differences in hardware on Android for something like a camera application. On the iPhone there are only a handful to support, but to wrtie an app that works well on the differing phones on Android when they will range from shoddy to excellent is a huge task.

From what I can gather it is not being 'pushed' automatically yet, so has to be installed manually.

Has anyone worked out an easy way to do this yet... other than using a QR code?

Thanks. :)

I've gone back to Thumb Keyboard as I found the flaw in HTC_IME keyboard that made me ditch it way back in the Desire days!

It does not support multitouch!

I type fast so often I am tapping 2 keys at once. Now on Gingerbread/Thumb keyboard among others which support multitouch I have no problems, words are strung out speedily but with the HTC_IME one I end up missing a space because it was the 2nd key pressed and it becomes tedious going back to add the space or other missed letter.

Multitouch ***!

Simple text is great for those who liked my custom icons before:

New look:

I set Snowstorm to update every 6 hours, sooner if I manually refresh it.

Epyon yes, I just used symbols to make that. It saves the icons as PNGs on the internal memory.

mrk how have you decreased the gap between the current and forecast bits? did you make a custom skin?

looking better...

between the forecast and launcher bar i've stretched the Torch icon to the same size as the whole gap and made it transparent with Transparent Launcher.

Torch (Tiny flashlight + LED doesn't work with Transparent launcher): https://market.android.com/details?id=com.colinmcdonough.android.torch&feature=search_result
