Entirely up to you and which one works best on your device! :p

All the media players are pretty good for features and UI, some players work better on some mobiles where another player might not be as good but on a different mobile it could be the other way round etc.

Give it a try and see what you think, some other players that people like as well are DICE player and rockplayer :)

ok one has worked, my wifi turned off when I left home but it took until the train station to acknowledge. Will report back at lunch when I have had a further tinker.

If you are using cell site locations to trigger events then you will most likely have the same issue as everyone - Android does not allow Llama to check cell changes when the screen is off in order to save battery. When the screen comes on e.g. when you turn it on manually or receive a call, the actions then trigger.

It works great for other things e.g. times or wifi network connections to tell the app where it is but it falls down on cell site locations like all the other apps that use the same :(

There is an option to turn the screen on every "x" minutes but that will run down battery.

Just set up a profile like I did with wifi polling ever x amount of minutes tbh. More accurate than relying on cell towers :p

I mentioned earlier about being able to play files from ps3 media player on my pc to my android phone using upnplay. That's working fine using my rooted Desire Z but I cannot get any files to play using upnplay on my unrooted Defy+. I also tried twonky and again, got error messages when trying to play files. Help please!!

Wifi tether 3.1

Currently in a travel lodge who want 10 quid a night for internet access....one quick Google I have installed this app and tethered my tab and laptop to my phone. Awesome!

On the subject, why is 3g so expensive compared to wifi only tabs?

Massive improvement for Chrome Beta.

I got Virtual Pool, but thats only because i'm a fan of the PC version. It seems near identical on android so thats awesome.

I feel silly asking silly things. So new to Android...

How do you make it more organised? I don't think I like having 5 pages of apps and clutter and it seems an effort to hand organise so many into a different order..

I must be stupid but I expected more of a manual with the phone.. Not that I haven't figured out most things myself (I hope) and usually I don't need manuals but for a whole new OS in my life it seems quite scary :p. I don't yet feel 'one' with android apart from having a ton of apps. Still looks pretty standard/dull/messy!

:| Could someone direct me to a site or something to help with this? Considered a new thread re. my new phone but don't know if thats a bit too much just for questions :p
