What is this satellites layer you refer to?

It's especially useful for finding buildings on side roads when someone has described the shape etc!

When i use maps it always finds me as being in the house across the street when i'm at home :(

e: i always seem to set people up for the triple word point squares  every time!

Thanks to smokedog for linking me this app :)

Like the video player window, which stays on top of any other screen in the new version of touchwiz?

Well check this out! :p

Works very well and I didn't notice any slow downs at all even when watching a video via the browser through youtube in that overscreen window and at the same time browsing using the quick ics browser or a 1080P trailer and using overscreen to browser. Very quick wee browser as well. Shame about the UI of it though, don't think there is any button to hide the thick borders either :(

EDIT:

Just seen this:

'auto hide URL bar' option, thinner title bar

Using an old version at the minute to test it out first ;) :p so don't have those improvements yet.

Yep that's been out a while, he also has a calculator and video apps. It wont be as smooth as Samsungs version, but he is getting nice sales out of it since Samsung announced the S III.

Just tried TVCatchup - damn that is impressive. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

Between this and netflix, my phone is better than most peoples home entertainment systems :p

The thing i liked about TVCatchup was on saturday while watching Lord of the rings it was so easy to flick through the channels when the adverts came on. Almost as good as my TV is.

Just been playing with TV catchup and it's really good. My data plan is going to take a hammering though! I was playing really well over 3g.
I just wish they changed a couple of things. I've got no menu bar which may or may not be important, and if you touch the screen whilst it's playing something it goes back to the channel list.
Still it's only a beta at the moment.

I've been getting a crazy amount of spam automated calls lately, literally 3 a day.

Ended up getting Call Master (root) which I've set up to kill the calls before they even connect, because even when they're rejected they leave a 1 second silent answerphone message.

Working well at the moment, although it only seems to keep logs for 2 days.

Anyone else with this problem should look into it, there's a lot more options.

Also does anyone know where those numbers are from?

Google says they are all from Natwest.

Checked your bank account recently

HSBC ring me out of the blue now and then on random numbers, not the numbers listed on the website, to check transactions on my account. Then I call them back on the official number and ask to be connected to the relevant department as I'm never too sure about trusting a random number asking about my bank details.

I read it was Natwest on some websites, but most people were saying it's a scam? I'll call the bank tomorrow and find out if it's them.
