I'm running Apex v1.3.0beta6 with no problems on my 'gutless' Xperia Arc (not S)... if the official/Stable don't work, try the beta!! :)

Apex Settings -> About Apex Launcher -> Automatically check for updates -> Beta version

can't even get that far, it crashes as soon as you select it as the launcher

Hmm, seems an awful lot of people are having that same problem twist3d0n3. I am sure that he will get an update out quickly though......

Holding of until he does.

Nova also recently had an update (stable), don't know if I should bother trying it as I will most likely be back on apex again after one day :p

yeah i've just gone back to sense for the time being (barf)

Every time I update an app I check the comments to make sure the update doesn't break the app. The one time I don't check it and my launcher breaks :D.

Oh well, will have to use Trebuchet until a fix is released :(.

The bedroom TV that my wife will be watching X Factor on? You mean that TV?

(Or I could have gone for: you mean the TV (with no headphones) that will wake my wife, who is as often as not asleep before 10pm...)

Yeah, we got one. Why?

:)

Wireless headphones, work a treat. :)

There just seems to be a lot of people trying to get full HD on devices with 4" screens over WiFi (I.e. while sat in their house, presumably where their TVs are). Just seems a bit... pointless?

It's not pointless - they have the material in 1080p so why convert it just to play it on a device which is capable of playing back 1080p? And I don't mean screen res.

Its not the HD, its the fact they are doing it over WiFi. Of course if your on the move then you want nice shiny HD and don't want to convert it. But when sat at home...? At no point have I ever wanted to watch anything of substance on my phone or tablet while sat near either of my considerably bigger HD TVs. Just seems a bit like a feature for features sake? No?

Maybe its just me.

Pah, who's talking about a 4" screen? I'm trying to get HD video streamed onto my 10" tablet. And that's for when my TV is not usable or in use by someone else.

Although, wireless headphones could actually be a pretty neat idea for when I want to watch whilst my wife is asleep. Hmm, that is unless the screen glow would wake her up. I dunno. Worth a try perhaps.

Of course that still doesn't help for those times when X-Factor is on (or Strictly Get Me Out of Here On Ice or whatever...)! :)

Lol, strictly get me out of here on ice :D

Wireless headphones are great. She's happy to sit on the sofa reading while I watch something she doesn't like. You do look like a bit of a weirdo if you suddenly cheer at sport or something though :p

Not all of us have HD TVs in the bathroom :o :D

Hey chaps, my free version of My Backup has expired on my Galaxy S2. I'm happy to spend the princely sum of £3.17 for My Backup Pro, but just wanted to know if it'll still work on the S3 on any other new Android phone, since my upgrade date is only 6 weeks away.
