I installed the 4.2 keyboard and now i don't have an android keyboard at all if i select that it just gives me voice dictation only :confused:

So it's either that or swiftkey

Sounds like you installed it wrong

Uninstall using Titanium, reboot phone, install new KB apk and enable it in language settings. Done!

I've gone back to Swiftkey though as I like having cursor keys.

Oh, did you reboot and before that clear KB data in app management?

I have it enabled and the 4.2 keyboard works fine for me. Try enabling the HTC keyboard, maybe it relies on the stock keyboard.....

I Didn't reboot etc. had to disable the other stock android keyboard though as it would be the default despite me selecting the 4.2 one.

you simply download the .APK file and install it.

In the keyboard and input methods all i see are android keyboard, google voice typing and swiftkey. Android keyboard is turned on.

Hmm even turning swiftkey back on doesn't get rid of the voice typing, not good

Tried out the pc layout, definitely makes the keys too small to use in portrait. Swype style is pretty cool, never used that before.

You don't need to un-install anything (at least I didn't). I rebooted in to CWM, wiped cache and dalvik then installed the .zip and re-booted.

Is there a way of installing the camera/gallery app by just using estrongs without having to root etc. yet?

iirc it needs to go into system/app so no. you have no access to that without root

Hopefully these guys will have an installable .apk up soon or just update the current JB camera with the new UI/features.

I need a way to have invisible folders on my home screen. Running Nova launcher but can't see anyway to do this. Any ideas guys?

Make a transparent 48x48 .png. Then make a folder like normal in Nova. Long press the folder, edit the thumbnail to the png

Plus with HTC devices, it looks more complicated than Samsung devices
