I've been trying to find a notes service that is very basic (text only) and quick. Evernote is too clunky for quick notes, and creating new text files in Dropbox is too slow.

Fetchnotes appears to fit the bill. Hashtags that you simply type into the note, and plain text only, exactly what I was looking for :)

You could try g tasks?

I finally got round to trying SwiftKey Flow. It's pretty mad! I remember now why I was put off using it before I that it asks you to log in to Gmail and your Facebook account so it can learn your typing. What does everyone think about that from a privacy point of view?

And wow... Just typed this in flow.. Nice!

Have ditched ad blocker plus. Causing proxy errors in chrome. Pity as it worked well apart from that.

I had similar run ins with that issue, in the end it only happened when I restarted the phone and had adblock set to turn on at boot, turned it off and manually start it myself, not had any of those proxy issues since then, although a few sites don't work with it turned on i.e. the ITV guide online doesn't display the time, channel, tv show grid.

It is amazing how much quicker some sites load now as all those stupid ads are blocked, looking at you XDA and neowin!

Just stick with Ad Free, simples.

Have to root to use that! :p

Think I'll be buy a PS3 controller for a Christmas present in prep for Vice City re-release. Just finished Tekken 3 on hard!

Right I think I need to go about backing up my stuff, so will Titanium Backup literally backup everything I've got? Including stuff like widgets I've made using UCCW, minimalistic text, widgetlocker, nova prime stuff set up as is? Or do I have to make backups of the things through the apps first then use Titanium Backup?

Whenever I backup using Titanium it never restores my widgets, but I'm certain with Apex you can back those up separately
