I recall reading previously about being able to change the 'archive - reply' options that pop up when Gmail is received to hopefully custom options, delete would be much more useful than archive for me!

As an aside, I never archive email? Who needs to in Gmail if it's all saved automatically and permanently anyway?

I've wanted this too. I've looked over the settings with a fine tooth comb and can't find an option for it :(

What?? This Option..

And in 4.2 onward you then get the 'coolness' of being able to 'Hold' 'Swipe Down' and 'Delete' from the Notification Bar! but it only works if you have 1 email in the bar!, not a Multiple!! :)

It is definitely something to do with the keyboard, be it the keyboard software itself (unlikely if you and most others don't have this problem) or more likely software optimisation with the S4 krait chipset or/and sense.

Have used most keyboards out there and have never encountered this problem.

The annoying thing about google play market is you can't leave a review/comment now unless you have a g+ account/profile setup

Isn't that for when you're inside Gmail in the conversation list? We're on about the system notification bar these options (not my inbox btw :p)

That's the only option I ticked/changed on my Nexus4, and mine looks like this...

I believe it's all part of the same control setting. :)

Props to Samsung for fixing it on the S4 :D

:D

Seriously unbelievable that Google can't fix it on their own browser.......

Saying that, even if it was fixed, I still find chrome a very mediocre browser "overall", it just isn't as quick to use and I also noticed that tabs reload more often with it i.e. I can have 3 tabs open the sense browser etc., return to homescreen open an app, return and the tabs would still be open and not reload, but with chrome, every single one reloads, heck even when just staying in chrome and switching between the 3 of them, they reload

The new opera works nicely too but not as good as sense for me and plus experienced crashes/freezes with it

Opera Beta, doesn't have the sync side but the overall browsing experience is significantly better and forum browsing is way better - moved over to it
