Any recommendations for a calendar events widget that goes alongside Minimalistic text?

I know minimalistic text does this, But requires a lot of setting up if I want 4 events showing. Either that or can someone export theirs?

I use Smooth Calendar

It's really customizable so you can make it look as clean or as busy as you want it to :)

Anyone able to recommend a decent landscape tablet keyboard? I've been using a JellyBean one for a little while (with a split layout) but lately it seems to lag a lot and doesn't seem to work well with Chrome, random capital letters at the start of words, not automatically adding full stops etc. Getting on my nerves so I need to find an alternative.

Swype is the keyboard of my choice, I use to use Swiftkey but recent updates annoyed me. Can also split as a thumb keyboard as well while in landscape mode, which helps when I'm typing on my tablet.

I've just changed to Jellybean. The Jellybean calendar background colour doesn't seem to be changeable and I need/want it to be black with white text like it was on ICS/Gingerbread. Is there a good calendar app with the same functionality, black background or changeable to a dark colour, that syncs well with google calendar? Or is there any way to get the default calendar from before Jellybean
back on the phone?

Any recommendations for a data usage/monitor app? Just taken delivery of an SGS4 having used Blackberry for years... got 1GB per month data on my tariff but want to keep an eye on my usage.

If you are on 4.2.2 then give DashClock a try with the data usage monitor extension. You can keep an eye on it right on the homescreen.

Also, If you are with O2, an extra 1gb on top is an extra 5 quid a month.

Didn't realise there was one built in, cheers. Gonna have a mess around when I get home tonight, been looking at it charging on my desk at work all day but too busy to play with it!

Falcon PRO Announcement

As you might know, Falcon Pro has reached its maximum amount of users.

That doesn't mean the app is dead, that means I had to find a way to provide updates for existing users only. And I found a way to do just that.

Falcon Pro updates will now be available for free from http://getfalcon.pro

I'm sticking with it, tried tweetcaster and hated it. Stock app is average.

Yay! Firefox beta has finally got proper text reflow when you double tap to zoom AND pinch to zoom :D Not as responsive/smooth as the sense browser though but better than nothing!

Now fix the damn text size issue mozilla! :p And also get rid of the "bounce" effect when scrolling to the sides and bottom/top of web pages!

Aside from that, it is a lot better now! Still not as snappy/quick as stock etc. browsers when loading/rendering web pages but the performance when scrolling and on GIF intensive threads is very good, smooth as anything :)

UI still needs more work too!

Any suggestions for an App that displays the battery percentage in the notification bar? Was using GSam battery monitor with an icon pack, but after rooting it's not playing ball. Every now and again the icon will disappear, even though it's excluded in my task manager :(

I use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hb.settings&feature=order_history on both of my Nexus's as I wanted the Setting toggles in the drop down, the Battery Percentage was a bonus!.

Dunno if you can run it without the Tray switches!!

Thanks mate. Hoping to find a decent standalone App for the job however. GSam done the trick but after rooting the battery icon would disappear every so often on me.

So apparently Astrid is closing down within the next month :( This is a real pain as I use it A LOT for work and I'm not sure any other to do lists do the simple things I require -

- Auto repeat a task
I have something that I do every week on a Tuesday, when I complete it one week, recreate the task for next week

- Hide task until a certain time
This is the one I think others don't do. Lets say I have a task I need to do every two months, when I complete it and it recreates, I don't want to see this task until maybe a week before it's due again

This is it really. Many apps do lots of complicated things, I only want these two features... anyone know of an app that can do both?
