Finally a good DS emulator :D

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drastic

A bit pricey, but is the only one on the store to play games at full speed (and even has fast forward!), and has so many options and configurable settings to make it worthwhile. There's also a free demo on the store to try it out first.

Ooh. I've been using nds4droid, but it didn't quite have enough oomph behind it, just tried that DraStic demo out and it runs perfectly. Only note is that I notice it wouldn't play anything portrait, only landscape with the screens side by side. Was this a demo limitation, is the full app like this, or is it a compatability issue with my tablet? Hope its just a demo thing because otherwise it seems perfect!

The full version lets you customise the screen layouts, so I assume that you can have it vertical, but I've not actually tried.

There's probably some reviews around the 'net which will give better details.

True those apps all have a similar look/feel to them now, however, they still aren't that "great" when compared to the sense skin i.e. the button placement e.g. the 3 dot menu button, colour scheme e.g. google play store has a green banner, music has an orange banner etc. Although google probably want it that way..... I am sure that the other minor things will be fixed sooner or later though..... Granted those wee things won't bother the majority of people, it is just something that peeves me of big time :o

They now need to update their calendar, SMS and dialer apps to have a similar look. Although as you said, I am also expecting all of KLP to get the white minimal stacked card look including the stock android launcher, dialer etc.

Not fussed on all of this white, much prefer the holo theme and I really hope google don't do away with that.....

Indeed :(

Such a shame as it is the best colour scheme by far! I just have a strong feeling that google will drop it completely! Only places that come to mind where the holo theme applies; dialer app, settings menu and the notification bar/tray, everything else has a white based theme now.

Did they remove the seek bar from fullscreen youtube or am I blind?

TURBO EDIT: It's not on my SGS2 but is on other phones, alright...

One never used sense so I have no idea but I do like goggles new minimal design language. The banners you speak of are actually correct because they are color coded to the play store categories. Music on the play store is orange which is why the banner in Google play music app is orange... Etc etc so it is actually unified.

SMS and dialer are system apps so i would put money on it that they will get the new design language in android 5.0.

Calendar will probably get updated with 5.0 too.

If you have a look at all the apps Google has updated so far this year.... Maps, YouTube, Play Store. Gmail, Drive, hangouts, G+ and then the online services.....Gmail, Maps, G+ you will notice that all is based on the minimal look.

Personally, I think Android 5.0 will look gorgoues!!
Much better than another OS which looks childish by comparison from the latest betas........

I need a new game. Tried a few recently but can't get into them (Ionage, Jungle Heat, Wing Suit, Bounce Ball). Need a game like Hexage's Radiant Defence or Robotek (not necessarily that genre).

Just as a heads-up, the new YouTube app will remember your resolution selection until you close the app. For example, if I open up the app and turn off HD, it won't play in HD until I reopen the app. Useful for those who use the modified YouTube releases for this purpose (though obviously a way to set this permanently would be best).
