Essential Android Apps

I use Any do, there appears to be a desktop Chrome browser plugin, but I've never used it, so I'm not entirely sure whether it syncs to your phone.

The Android app is fantastic!

Any interest in using NFC tags? I had one on the back of my GoPro case, which when tapped would turn on WiFi, connect to the GoPro and launch the GoPro app.

Since Astrid stopped, I've been using Any.Do too. The Chrome plugin does sync to your phone.

In response to my own question, I've decided to give Trello a try.

It's a lot more robust than a note/to do app. It's more of a project planner with collaboration features. It's got an Android app too, which looks quite polished.

The best thing though, is it supports adding tasks by email. So if I'm in work and I've been emailed a mini project or task, I can just forward it onto my Trello account and it creates the task in there.

But yea Trello, Trello is great, I live out of Trello for my day to day tasks at work. Use it like a little kanban board.

Seems really good for a free service - do you know if there's any limits on place for the amount of organisations/boards you can create?
 
Guys, in the new YouTube app, when you're playing your Favourites (which is essentially a playlist) how do you make it auto play the next song?

Also, really annoying I still can't multi-task to another app OR turn off the screen and have it keep playing....

There will be a modified version appearing soon if not already that allows that I would imagine, I know there's modified versions of the previous ones so I can't imagine why this one won't be done.
 
Been using Timely for the last few days and its rubbish compared to the stock one. Mainly due to the swipe action to snooze / cancel the alarm being all the way at the bottom of the screen rather than the middle like in stock. I guess it doesn't help using a Nexus 10 locked in portrait mode as an alarm clock.
