is there an app for that or do you have to enter them manually? an app that lets you select what tv shows to show would be nice

That's not a UK one, that's the same as the one at on-my.tv. The person who runs the latter was the person who coded it originally.

someone made a digiguide script to add to google calendar but you can only add one episode at a time.

Not sure actually, but the guy has been working hard on it so there should be quite a lot!
Not sure off hand, but if you google around you might be able to find and ical/shared calendar that someone has already put together. You can find all sorts if you look around, Football fixtures, F1 dates, World cup matches etc etc. I'm sure somewhere there will be cinema releases.
