Where is the widget? I can't find one built in, and the market is full of paid ones?
If you aren't using a Sense ROM or you are using a custom launcher you won't be able to use the built in Sense widgets. If you are using LauncherPro you can get the paid version to add widgets, or there are a number of ones on the market. Some free, some not.

Ah the calendar in LP Paid links to google?

Sense also has a Launcher called SenseUI though so technically it is also a launcher but the SenseUI widgets will not work without a HTC Sense framework while the core launcher itself will.

Yes it has a launcher, but without Sense you don't get the better contacts application, better email client, better browser, better camera interface etc.

I know CM mod for stock Android does improve stock Android but Sense vs stock Android - Sense has more features and better usability.

LauncherPro running on stock Android is not a replacement for Sense, it will just be a nicer launcher with Sense like widgets.

I'm after a mail client that allows me to control my accounts on the phone properly. To clarify: I'm running K9 at the moment to sync my Yahoo account to my phone. However, changes I make on my phone aren't synced back to Yahoo, eg deleting messages. Is this a configuration setting I'm missing, or should I use another client?

Apparently there's an OBD app tool kicking around for Android for BMW owners which Wi-Fis to a OBD connector dongle thingy??

Anyone got it? I can't search today as I don't have the phone on me

Ok got it thanks brummie.

Another (possibly stupid) question, how do I 'disable' the inbuilt android mail program? It seems to have a mind of its own. If I delete my Yahoo account from that, it obviously removes it from the whole phone, thereby K9 as well.

Sure? Not had any experience with K9 but doesn't it have its own access?
