Can anyone recommend me an app for overclocking my I5700? I can find loads that let me underclock to save battery but I want to overclock - I need moar power!!

Wanna crank it up from 800mhz to around the 1ghz mark - see if it speeds things up a bit :)
 
For those that like the HTC Sense Dialler but don't like the Dialer One app which is IMO a better replacement even if it doesn't look as nice (functionality over looks tbh?) check out Youlu Address Book.

It's very pretty, SUPPORTS CONTACT GROUPING LIKE SENSE!!, has T9 searching (although to view a contact where they have multiple numbers and one is set as default you have to long press and open otherwise it dials the default number immediately).

I note 3 bugs with it, by default it shows all contacts under the My Contacts in Gmail including the contacts in Gmail's Other folder where un-grouped/frequent contacts get stored that aren't in a group yet.

To fix that you have to open Android Contacts and click Display options then untick My Contacts and only click your groups you want to be shown, then Youlu will see that and only display those.

The 2nd bug (well, lack of a feature) is that it doesn't have landscape orientation, Sense doesn't either but Dialer One does.

The 3rd and 4th bugs are together and they are that when viewing the list of contacts it doesn't show online status for Google Talk for contacts like the stock Android app does (I don't think Sense does either, Dialer One does). Also when you view a contact it doesn't show their WhatsApp entry if they're on WhatsApp, again, the stock Android Contacts app does (and in turn Dialer One too since it uses the Android Contacts part of the dialler for this).

Seems nice though otherwise and hopefully they update with bug fixes and more stuff in time!
 
Anyone have this bug with Hancent? If I reply to a text on my home screen, the live wallpaper reverts back to a normal one? X10 with 2.1

Edit - Since a recent factory reset, Rockplayer doesn't remember my last known position for my videos, ant ideas? I can't any option relating to it.

You need to flash a modified kernel to overclock. Check xda developers forum
 
Howcome when updating apps via appbrain on the mobile, it now takes me to the market to update and not the usual appbrain screen?

(It's annoying coz now need to hit a 'more' button in the description to see recent changes)

Since the market update, Appbrain can't do fast installs or updates, so it has to take you to the market :(
 
Install and set up Fast Web Installer to fix that :-)

Or maybea recent update fixed it? Either way recently it stopped doing that :p
