Is it correct that if I buy an app with my credit card instead of my debit card I won't get charged for foreign currency transactions?

i use timeriffic which is free and does exactly as you want.

I was looking for an app to silence my SGS overnight and having read about it on here, I can confirm that - once you get it set up correctly - this is excellent.

If the developer was to also allow the app to control the background syncing function between specific hours of the day, then it would be pretty much perfect!

I’ve been trying to find Gensoid on the market but I can’t seem to find it if I search for it. Does anyone know where I can get hold of it? Alternatively does anyone know of a good Mega Drive emulator which works well on tablets?

It does - install APNDroid (which stops and starts data services using network data) and configure it within timeriffic. Make sure to de-activate wifi at the same time you turn apndroid on.

I use a Visa credit issued by MBNA and they don't charge me from what I can tell, or if they do its only pence.

yep VISA debit - got charged a £1 'overseas transaction' free for each app.

Though now I'm on their value added platinum account I may get commission free foreign currency.

Using a rooted Desire Z running stock 2.2 and Go Launcher, is there some way I can get the gingerbread power off transition?
