Essential Android Apps

I tried maxthon when I first go tmy android (been faithful to Maxthon on my PC for years (since the MyIE2 days) so thought I'd get it on me phone too lol), it was so slow I gave up and swapped to xScope ...that does tabs and is pretty fast too :) my other half uses opera mini, seems faster than xScope but as I paid for it, I'll keep it lol
 
SNES9X! Enough said!!! I can now do dragon punches with the touchscreen! :D

Going to be playing Zelda 3 on the train now!
 
So, can anyone tell me why I can backup and restore data from angry birds but not from other apps without root? I would love to be able to backup progress from all my games.

I thought progress in games was stored on the SD card?
 
Hi guys can anyone recommend a good email widget? I've seen one that I like the look of (to see if search for GO Launcher on market and it's in one of the photos!). Cheers guys :)

I've done almost all of it 3 stars, I only stopped because I didn't want to play it all at once so I went back and played more Vanilla Angry Birds and enjoying some of the levels with different types of birds.

Also...

How on earth do I get 3 stars on 5-11, my highscore is 91490 and I get one star but I can't find a way to get any more points out of it. It's this one...

Blue Skies looks like an uprated version of Desert Strike!! I loved that on my MegaDrive!!! LOL

Still hooked on Drag Racing at the mo, so will give that a try at a later date :)
 
Why is everyone going mental over Angry Birds? What's the appeal? I've downloaded 3 of them but not played any yet.

Too busy playing Zelda 3 on the train at the moment to try them :p

Some kind of subliminal messaging?

For me it's the mix of a simple premise, challenging scoring system and the fact that you can pick up and play a level in a minute or so.

I wish they would release a version with a level editor...
 
^ Fair enough. Everyone seems to be playing it on the train so it seems like some sort of latest craze to me. :p

I'm trying out the 8pen keyboard - it's weird, but I see where it's going... Going to give it a chance.

Preferences, Automatically load .torrents from, and browse to dropbox folder.

You need to untick Show a window that displays files inside the torrent on UI Settings too.
