So I bought Widgetlocker from the market yesterday night and its still stuck on authorising payment but Ive been sent the order receipt. Pretty damn weird and annoying. Has anyone experienced this and is there any fix to this?

Is there any point in a lockscreen that doesn't have a password or draw pattern? I'm in two minds whether to have a properly locked one, or just a pretty one with notifications but which anyone can open by a slider if the phone is lost or stolen. But a lot of people seem to be buying lockscreen widgets which don't truly lock?

I'm pretty sure Widgetlocker will go to the password/pattern lock like normal.

If you use, for example, Widget Locker, you can still set up a pin entry for after you unlock. It needs it before it will run any apps linked on the lock screen too.

Umm using GoSMS, isn't that GO-MMS meant to send picture messages for free :S? Just checked VM and its charged me the 31p :S?

why on earth would it be free? still has to go through the network

To be fair, the description did say that it "sends an mms using one sms".. Not tried it myself, uninstalled it when they added that stupid extra bar at the bottom of the input box :o

ITV Player now available, required Adobe AIR though :/

https://market.android.com/details?id=air.ITVMobilePlayer

Just tried it, streams fine over wi-fi (not got 3G here but from the website I don't think it even attempts to work over 3G?) but the quality isn't amazing really...

Worst bit is that only the video's are landscape, the app itself stays in portrait,

And the main ui scrolls up and down slightly only on an 800x480 display for seemingly no real reason,

And the back key doesn't exit the app, you have to press the home button.

All in all it's functional but why oh why do companies put out half-hearted shoddy apps like this? And using Adobe AIR which is afaik designed to make app design simple this must've taken all of about 5 minutes :p
