So is cerebus a must have?

If your phone is nicked and u track it, you can't really confront them legally, nor will the police do anything, so what's the point?

If it's stolen at work and you have a photo of the person that stole it (a colleague), it's useless to you?

Circumstantial? The fact that a known person has possession of your mobile illegally either through theft or reset can be proven from this.

It's not just for if the phone is stolen. Can be used if you just lose the phone somewhere, you can track where it is.

Great thread, could someone sum up about 5 absolute essential apps (i am new to android). There is a small list on first page but I assume some have been replaced as that post is 2 years old.

It will automatically startup and monitor for some form of connection (data, wifi) and then auto send updates for you when it finds one without you having to enable it. When this has been done, you have full control as long as some form of data connection is present.

Edit: Also, when started in aeroplane mode, it will take a picture from the front camera and email you ASAP

EDIT: it's still saying "Trial will end in 6 days" even though I've bought it, restarted app, restarted phone. Does it take a while?

Doesn't this Cerberus constantly zap your battery if it's tracking constantly? Or does it only track when you log into the website?

you can "start/stop" cerberus.. by net or by text

Yeah i use apex launcher, really like it. Also use Fancy Widgets by the same Dev

I've been using since first releases on xda and I love it. Some much better than the rest.
I've even given up golauncher for it.

It just keeps getting better and better too, which is great!

I thought you don't do anything until it goes missing. Anything you turned on, turn it back off again.

I have moved over to Apex from Go Launcher as well. It is cleaner and faster, but the only thing I do miss is the swipe up gestures on the bottom row of icons.

I dont think I turned anything on, when I logged into the website it was tracking my phone, does it only track when you login?

Confused! So impressed with the app though, surprised me thats for sure
