pure grid calendar :)

Thanks :)

Can you switch between agenda and month view in one click with just the one widget though? Last time I used it (months and months ago :p), it didn't. You just had separate apps for that IIRC.

Will give it another go anyway.

EDIT:

Just seen that there is a separate app for agenda widget still, so I guess that is a no for the question above then :p

I use Simple Calendar

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5hbm9kLmNhbGVuZGFyIl0.

Nice simple widget which when clicked goes to the monthly calendar.

Thanks :)

Will check it out as well.

Yup.

But I cba rooting and flashing a custom ROM on my one S as the mobile is perfect out of the box pretty much for everything :p :D

But what I don't get is that the go dev team now have the "proper menu" button in the app drawer, however, they didn't remove it from the bottom of the screen unless they forgot about it or something................

I am no app developer but I would imagine that programming/writing code or whatever :p to move the 3 buttons menu to the proper place for ICS (top right of the app window) isn't that hard..........

Guess there are still many devices out there that don't have ICS officially yet so it isn't a high priority for many app developers at the moment, only mobiles that have ICS officially that I can think of are; the GS 2, sensation (?), Galaxy nexus and the new one series mobiles (3 devices)

And that! :(

Hopefully, with all these new devices coming out that only have the ICS buttons (especially when the SIII is out), then will see the apps being updated to follow the "ICS layout"

Even youtube doesn't have the 3 menu button in the right place though :o :(

You have to pay for those features.................... :o

You can get other launchers e.g. go which are just as good and in some areas much better for free.

I don't like the app draw on go launcher at all I think it looks carp. I have been using this since the first version so I don't mind giving back a little bit & of course there are going to be more updates in the future.

Just curious :p, but what is it that you don't like about go launchers app drawer?

If it is the top tab row i.e. the "all", "recent" "running" tabs, you can remove that and have the horizontal drawer or a vertical drawer (like launcher pro's app drawer), plus you can customize it with themes e.g. ICS theme etc.

Yeah, I hope the developer of apex does continue to add stuff and doesn't do what Fede did with launcher pro and the "promised re-write", which is why many people paid for it in the first place along with the widgets............

Ok, so I am on Virgin that has a thing where you can use the Orange network (however it shows up as 'virgin' on 'Virgin' mobiles).

This is great and allows me to get more signal. However, when I switch over onto the other network, my device shows me as roaming, which it technically is doing.

Does anyone know of an app that allows you to turn on Data Roaming depending what network you are connected to?

Cheers

Yup I got suckered into the Launcher Pro but to be honest it served me well up until ICS.

The top tabs( I didn't know you could remove these but I haven't used it since about 6 months ago), the bottom lot of options & I couldn't find anywhere to hide apps like I could in Launcher Pro & Apex. I also didn't like the pop up menu on the home screen I think it looks much nicer in Apex with the options of removing things I don't need there. Plus I don't need to mess about with themes to get the ICS look :)

Yeah it was a great app but as soon as the updates stopped and bugs etc. weren't being fixed and especially when go came out it all just went to xxxx :p

6 months?!?! A lot has changed since then!!!

You can hide apps in the app drawer for go as well and the menu is slightly different now :)

I like apex a lot and it does seem to do most of the things better than go, but I really miss folders in the app drawer and the go calendar widget! :p :(

guess a way around the lack of folders in app drawer is use somthing like folder organizer for your folders - could also then add them via gestures to the dock

I missed the Go Calendar widget but then came across "Android Pro Widgets" which gives you a decent calendar for free :)

Try it :)

Just had a look at it on the market and that is exactly what I am looking for! Thanks! :D

All that is left now is folders in the app drawer, come on APEX!!!!! :p

Nova Prime recently got folders :)

Yeah I seen that :)

But there is something about it that I don't like, can't quite put my finger on what it is though :p :o Also when I use custom icons for the dock bar and I "touch" the phone dialler for example, it highlights with a square box around the icon, not just the outline of the icon, which I am not keen on.
