Any ideas on why Textra won't work on my phone?
Installs itself and looks great, send a text, but then it won't receive any (update itself?).
Handsent and stock messaging still work fine. Messed with the notifications settings to no avail?

It's probably worth disabling the notifications from Handcent and the stock messaging app, as they can sometimes interfere with each other.

Also worth checking you haven't disabled the Textra notifications in System Settings > Applications > Textra too (if your OS supports app-specific permissions - I can't remember which Android version that was introduced).

I've moved from Astrid to Any.Do. Seems quite good. Not sure about collaboration

I gave that a go but it didn't do the collaboration and I wanted a standard web page not the add in they adopted.

Currently using ticktick which is pretty close to what I was looking for, not quite as slick as Astrid but it isn't bad. It's negative is I haven't worked out when the paid for version kicks in but at the moment would recommend checking it out

Thanks for the ideas, which I tried with no luck, very strange. I downloaded ChompMMS to try, and it worked perfectly right off the bat.
Really like Textra so sucks it won't work properly.

Nice browser but text reflow is broken like it is with all other 3rd party browsers (except opera) + lack of thumb controls is annoying & the adblock addon doesn't work :( Needless to say, sticking with sense browser still :p

Loving boat browser so far. Feels like dolphin, but the gestures are easier as you can just do them rather than having to tell the browser that you're about to enter a gesture. Go to top / bottom are very clever too...you just do a quick drag up or down and a button appears, which you press to go to top / bottom. Or you can create a gesture.
