But what I do is manually sort music into folders in logical order so

Genre / Letters of alphabet / Artist [Album] - Year / Tracks

That way my music players (MusicBee and PowerAmp) see this structure and because the music tags are all there as well it's all sorted nicely.

PowerAmp browses by folder as well.

That may actually work mrk - thanks for that tip I tend to have a couple of albums on the phone so the browse by folder should do it - the stock HTC One app does it so that may just work.

It's a great way to sort and find IMO rather than all albums in random or a single big folder.

Also means I can enqueue up stuff based on /whatever/ like all artists starting with L and so on:

I've been able to browse through the app just fine n all drives and on all the apps I gotta say mate, maybe you have router or firewall settings in place blocking certain things? Also make sure you have configured authentication info in the app settings.

nice 1 cheers, think my problem is because i don't have the tv episodes sorted to there own separate folders just 1 folder and i guess trying to load 8000 items is not going to be a quick job ... will try separate folders cheers.

Also how do you add authentication in the app as i don't see any settings for this? (MPC-HC Remote Control)

I was also using MPC-HC Remote Lite which has auth settings but the non lite doesn't but both work browsing without any auth settings in!

android has a blacklist feature built in.

Not on the Nexus 4, you can set it up to redirect numbers to voicemail but I would rather just block the number entirely.

The current SwiftKey is a beast on resources. It was using 41MB alone without even being open. Not a problem on a more modern phone but those with limited resources will want to manage what apps they install like this.

Just to let people know, the 7th Android Humble Bundle has been released! It contains Ticket to Ride, Incredipede, Greed Corp and Anodyne, and you can pay over the average (currently $6.18) to also get Worms Reloaded and The Bard's Tale. No word on what the extra 'over-the-average' games are yet though.
