Video can't be sent over iCloud, a shame. What I love about iCloud though is I don't have to worry about doing anything for my photos to be on my Windows PC. Its automatic.

I don't think you can turn it on and then all previous photos can be sent over. You need to install and setup the software: http://www.apple.com/uk/icloud/get-started/ and then all new photos will be sent from now on.

Ditto, shame about videos. I am ok with the idea of using iCloud to transfer new photos but want to also transfer the old stuff. Will also install that iCloud pc thingy too.

Just have to use the cable for the old photos and videos.

Want shift some of the photos on my iPhone without messing about with cables etc.

Well I bit the bullet and bought the app, it works a treat. Really easy to transfer old/new pics and videos between iPhone and PC, vice verse.

Does anyone know why iPhoto always says that photos taken from an iPhone 4S are less than 8 megapixels? They always come up as ~2 megapixels...

There is a standard iPhone version and a HD version for the iPad lot. If you have both devices you'll have to fork out for the app twice.

And the flip side is having a universal app that costs more, which is then unfair on those that only have one or the other.

No reason why you cant just have the iphone version though and use that on the ipad if you want to play on both devices.
