Essential iPhone Apps

Ok, I'm confused. What do the Jaddu VNC and RDP apps do that the Mocha VNC and RDP apps don't? The Jaadu apps are £15 each and the Mocha ones are £3.50 each, and are also available in a free Lite version.

I use Mocha RDP Lite regularly and it works great, so what justifies the £15 over £3.50, or even free?

Shame you can't get a trial version really as you could see for yourself then, but it's really slick

Just been going through the apps listed in this thread, loving that Flight Control game and the Tap Taps.

Is anybody using any Twitter apps? I've tried Twitterfon and Tweetdeck which are both free, but are any of the paid apps better? Also looking for a decent flickr app, currently using flickit and Klick, again both free but have their flaws.

Getting my iPhone 3gs in a couple of days (moving up from an MDA Vario III), but need an SSH client on it for remote admin work if I'm out and about. Which is the best currently, iSSH, TouchTerm or pTerm? Quite like the look of iSSH as it seems nice and clean, plus offers a decent font choice.

Anybody know of a decent telephone directory app like Yellow Pages. Apparently UK Yellow Pages doesn't have an iPhone app yet even thought places like Egypt do

Just got Jaadu tonight, amazing how clear it is and very smooth! :)

Will this work if I turn on my home pc before I go out, leave it at the login screen and use jaadu from work/any 3g zone? Wasn't sure if the client file would be loaded and would enable me to log in?

Forward port 3389 from WAN to the host machine and you should be fine to RDP from outside the LAN.

Edit: Actually RDP might require some other ports too, can't remember.

No it's just 3389, but you need TCP and UDP.
