Essential iPhone Apps

Just out of curiosity how do you guys feel if something's worth say 99p, £5, £10 on the iPhone?

I'm considering writing a few iPhone apps so I'm just trying to get an eye for the costs.

Completely depends on what the app does and what alternative apps are available.

Yup, I've been studying pricing strategies recently.

The application I've been thinking would put it above those that are available and would have something to stop it getting involved in price wars.

I'd recommend £1.99 or even 99p.

Selling for 59p would make you next to nothing unless it went in the top 25, so start at a good base :)

It's easier to show the apps that I have, and explain below..

There's now a plus version of iFooty, £1.19 IIRC, and it includes push updates etc, looks pretty useful. I loved iFooty last season, so have purchased the plus version for this one.

Try FStream. I have had great success with it over 3G. Used it all last season for the footy.

If you find it doesn't connect, simply press 'More' then turn 'Cellular Network' of then on again, then go back to 'Play' and retry your chosen station. This worked 100% of the time for me.

Thanks for the suggestion mate. This sounds really useful as I play football on a Saturday but cannot listen to the footy on the radio in my car (when driving to away games) as it doesn't do Medium Wave very well, so if this works I can hook up my phone to the stereo and stream it :)
