breaks your heart being a scotland fan tbh.... result vs spain should never had been needed we all know we were gubbed big time by the ref at the 2-2 Czech game at home :(

It's a shame its boiled down to this game as it would be great to have more home nations in the Euros :(
 
Spain are a great team, I do admire the way they move and keep the ball.

I understand from an opposition point of view that it must be frustrating and annoying not getting the ball, but from a neutral (student of the game) I think it's almost perfect.

Xavi's just such a good player, the way he waits and holds the ball, passes and sets up attacks, probing balls through and calming influence. Amazing.

I don't know if anyone else saw the interview with Barton (Available on the BBC Website) but he said that for him Xavi was just on another level, I agree, I think he's outstanding and I've said this for quite a while.
