You can't blame England dropping three points on just Rooney. England were poor all over the pitch, they made mistakes and didn't play well. The manager got things wrong too.
Also, encouraging crowd violence? Really. That's poor man. Thinking were this country used to be in regards to crowd violence and how far we've come it's just a horrible attitude to have.

Agreed on all points. Rooney was England's best player tonight until his sending off. Some of his balls out wide were sublime.
However, he needs to keep a lid on it and realise there are VERY few players in the world who are as good as he is and he needs to have some patience with his team mates.

You have to say we cant be great most football fans I know dont even bother watching England play now as they only end the night dissapointed.

All of me wants him to get a 3 game ban so he gets the summer off.
Erm 11 vs 10 begs to differ, getting sent off, is letting yourself down, your team, manager and fans.
The team has to change, work harder when a man is sent off, I cant believe you cant see that, you need to get your tongue from up his arse.
We all know he doesn't care about England, remember that out burst at South Africa 2010.

England didn't lose because Rooney got sent off, England lost because they were poor all over the pitch.
He got two bloody assists. England were just very poor second half and gave away three points.

We didn't lose, we drew. Are assists measured by something different now because Walcott hit the ball to Young for the first and Young knocked it across to Bent for the second.
Arguing that Rooney getting sent off didn't effect the game is talking tripe, though I'm not surprised to see that view surface on this board of all places

Find it very difficult to get enthused by watching England playing. Have always done, and don't really feel an England supporter unfortunately.
Wasn't necessarily Rooney's fault I feel. We'd created sod all in the second half, conditions got worse and I can't remember us properly testing their keeper after the break.
Montenegro probably deserved their draw, and for a country of 625,000 people (?) it's quite admirable.
We really need a plan B. If things don't go your way (crappy pitch, crappy weather, etc.) you need the players to concentrate, sit back and defend properly - even before the sending off our ball retention was awful and our outlets really suffered as soon as Ashleigh Young went off.
Ho hum, make usre you lot tune in for the big game this weekend: Northampton Town vs Crawley Town on Sky Sports tomorrow afternoon. A lot more fun than that rubbish on tonight.

England didn't lose because Rooney got sent off, I've never said it didn't effect England, I'm disagreeing with Cheets being a wind up merchant and saying he was the reason England lost.
England were poor, very poor in the second half and that's what lost them the game.
I thought Rooney got both assists, my bad.
