Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

Just had the most intense experience yet with this. I picked up a delivery to Keflavik airport and the drive along the coast road from the ferry to the airport was fantastic. Lots of different road surfaces and types, twisty and turning with some gradients. Maximum concentration was needed as the entire journey of over 800km was all on single carriageway roads except the final 30km or so which was motorway.
The scenery was incredible. I really enjoyed it.

Some people think I am weird when I explain this game and I have around 220 hours on it, but it's so relaxing, don't think I have ever fallen asleep playing any other game

I dunno whats going on with my ETS for some reason my wheel ( G29) has lost all its setup/configuration and I cant seem to put it right, seems to have started when the game had some updates the last week or so

Is that Iceland? Is it included in the main game? Or DLC?

Feek, do to missing trucks etc, I think 1 garage and 4 drivers. I'll have to sell the "N/A" ones.

It is Iceland, it's part of ProMods.
I got caught at an accident while driving through Iceland (truck on its side) and grabbed a quick screenshot.

I'm surprised, with that number of hours I'd have thought you'd have loads out there. I'm up to over 20 fully loaded garages now bringing in quite a substantial amount of cash per day.

I wish they would implement some sort of end game, it's an enjoyable grind at first but as soon as you have a few drivers and the bank loans are paid off it becomes far too easy and then I lose interest.

I know what you mean but I just enjoy driving around, exploring and looking at the scenery. I suppose that technically I reached 'end game' some time ago.

Same problem here. Used to work fine, fired it up after 6 months and my wheel isn't working correctly. Will need to investigate!

No, no snow on the default maps. Driving in the snow is very different to driving in the dry - The road is noticeably slippery and I learned very quickly to take it easy around bends.

Rather than break every speed limit - I try not to, I just can't help myself. Wouldn't mind more official DLC for this. Is the Italian expansion worthwhile? I have the others.

I generally drive close to the car limits (and never over) but if you do that round some of the Icelandic bends then you're going to lose it! I don't jump lights either.

Yes, Italy is good - Means it's possible to have really stupidly long drives now from Scandinavia down to Italy. Muchos fun.
